How effective do you learn? Experts say that, to a certain degree, the amount of your learning is being influenced by your learning styles.
|Honey and Mumford's Learning Styles||Characteristics|
|Activist||An enthusiastic person who welcomes new challenges and experiences and always likes to participate.|
|Reflector||A person who likes to think about things before taking action and also a good listener but prefers to adopt a low profile and are prepared to read and re-read.|
|Theorist||A logical, analytical and objective person who likes to see how things fit into an overall pattern and always prefers a sequential approach to problems. You can be considered an innovative person.|
|Pragmatist||A practical person who likes to see how things work in practice.|
For example, a Reflector will learn effectively with tasks and activities that needs lots of thinking and reflections. Some people have 2 or even 3 types of learning styles. These "multi-task-enabled" people will enjoy activities that are challenging. For example, a person who is a Reflector and also a Theorist (double learning styles person) will learn effectively with activities that needs to solve problems logically using analysis and reflections.
So, what are your learning styles and creativity level ???
